Important changes to the WLM Financial Services 

**This notice provides you with the required 30 days’ notice and sets out the key changes that may impact your account. Please refer to the WLM Financial Services Super Product Disclosure Document (PDS) and Adiitional Information Guide (AIG).**

When will the changes take place?

21 March 2024

Closure of WLM Financial Services Super 

WLM Financial Services Super is a uniquely branded version of Mason Stevens Super (the Fund) with Diversa Trustees Limited (Trustee) ABN 49 006 421 638 AFSL 235153 RSE Licence No. L0000635 as the Trustee.

Effective 21 March 2025, the Trustee will be closing WLM Financial Services Super and cease to offer the product.

What will happen to your WLM Financial Services Super account?

As an existing member of the Fund your account will be transitioned to Mason Stevens Super on 21 March 2025. Your online login details remain the same as do the product features available on your account. The only difference is that your account will no longer be branded as WLM Financial Services Super and will instead be integrated under the Mason Stevens Super platform. Please note that a separate PDS will no longer be issued for this product. Going forward, you will refer to the Mason Stevens Super PDS and the Mason Stevens Super AIG for all relevant information regarding your account.

What is the reason for the change?

A recent reduction in the membership and funds under management within WLM Financial Services Super has impacted on the long-term viability and sustainability of the product going forward. As a result, the decision has been made to close the product. This closure will enable the Fund to deliver greater efficiencies and benefits to members.

Will this change impact the fees charged on your account?

The fee structures for both WLM Financial Services Super and Mason Stevens Super are outlined below. All fees are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and reflect the effect of any reduced input tax credits (RITCs). The fees for Mason Stevens Super will apply to your account starting from 21 March 2025.

1. The Expense recovery fee in Mason Stevens Super is charged on the balance of your account up to $1,000,000. 

The table below provides an example of the impact of the updated fee schedule, effective 21 March 2025. As a result of these changes, most members will pay a lower fee while some will pay a higher fee, depending on the account balance held in the Fund. Please note, the below table does not take into account any investment-related or activity fees that may apply to your account’s specific transactions or investment choices.

What action is required by you?

You are not required to take any action. We will automatically transition your existing account from WLM Financial Services Super to Mason Stevens Super effective from 21 March 2025. You will not incur any cost for this change and there will be no impact on how you access or manage your account, including how you invest and transact.

This document provides you with the required 30 days’ notice of the above changes that will take place in your account. If you do not wish to proceed as outlined above, you must contact your financial adviser or Mason Stevens Super to discuss the appropriate next steps before 21 March 2025.
