Submitting instructions to rebalance a portfolio
Currently, for portfolios with identical parameters that are available through the Mason Stevens Wealth service (Wealth) as well as the Mason Stevens Super product (Super), instructions to rebalance the portfolio must be submitted once for Wealth and again for Super.
What’s changing?
If the parameters for a portfolio are identical on Mason Stevens Wealth and Mason Stevens Super, you now just need to submit your rebalancing instructions for the portfolio once for those instructions to be implemented across Wealth and Super accounts.
This system enhancement is being implemented this weekend.
How do I distinguish portfolios that are offered on Wealth and on Super?
You can do so by looking at the naming convention of the portfolios displayed on the MASA online portal. Portfolio names with a suffix of either “Wealth” or “Super” indicate which Mason Stevens product and service the portfolio is available for investors.
Portfolio names that do not have a suffix indicate that the portfolio is offered on both Wealth and Super and that the parameters are identical.
What if the parameters for a portfolio are no longer identical on Wealth and Super?
If you wish to update the parameters on a portfolio please contact our Investment Governance Manager to discuss the process for having those changes assessed and approved and reflected in the mandate document.
Once the changes are approved the portfolios will be updated on the MASA online portal following the above-mentioned naming convention.
